They are from Dick Horstman's line, but I got the eggs from a third party as they were within driving distance.

I too had a goat adventure. I know, you're thinking Kelly doesn't have goats? Well, I went to get my milk and I always peek down on the goats from the milking area - it has a window. (especially now with all the babies) Anyhow, I was looking around and I happened to see a head and a foot in the feeder. I went and got the owner and told her one of her babies was stuck. This baby was inside the feeder, stuck behind the grates. It's head was through one bar and a leg through the other. She freed it and it went running off to play.

Mary, I missed the update on the Emus hatching, did any ever hatch? I couldn't see on your blog.
And how did you overcome your sciatica?
I came down with it last December and am still seeing my chiropractor who put me back together.

Hi Eva! Yes, one emu egg hatched and it was a male so I sold him. I bought two day olds and they were both female so I now have 2 pairs! I had non surgical intervention for my sciatica. MILD procedure (minimally invasive lumbar decompression). I still have some pain but it is much more manageable.
