I got the second egg ever from my BCM today! IT was a double yolker!

My Isbar pullet laid her first egg today! She surprised me because she's not even red around the eye. But I caught her in the nestbox and stayed until I got the egg. I'll have to get a picture, it's a lovely mossy green.

I feel like it's an Easter egg hunt every day. I love going out and finding the eggs. Some of the Icelandic girls are a little more "creative" on their placement of their eggs.

It was a plain white plate I cracked the egg into to see if it was a double yolker. Then I thought it looked like eyeballs and added the rest! It would make a cute plate though. Think I should produce it?

YES, it is a great plate. I think if it had broccoli on it, I would be able to "look" at it tho, I still wouldn't eat it. Hey, it would be a start in the right direction. Mary you've got creativity leaking from every pore.
