Signed papers on the old house today. Have a couple of things to retrieve tomorrow and leave remotes in the house, then we are out of there. Funding and recording should happen on Friday.

they could not get out there until the last minute and of course it snowed.
we are trying to get around it but not looking good.

Oh Jason, no. Good grief. I am still hoping for the best for you. I mean what is the bank going to do? They will run into the same thing with the next buyer. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow you an extension until the roof is accessible.

We just left our old house after picking up the last few possessions. Michael was expressing relief on the way home but I said I was going to reserve that until I know it has recorded.

it is a strange deal. tThe house is a shortsale which was going to be foreclosed on here soon. so we already got a extension to push it to Friday but I guess there is not enough time to get someone out there. So hopefully the underwriter will be ok with us just getting a 2 year roof warranty but we have not heard anything yet today so we are not sure.

Crele Penedesenca egg... another Auto sex breed and they are SUPER easy to tell apart.

I just spent a good 45 minutes on the phone With Lee Penny ( Penedesenca breeder )
he has been working with these. I have not heard about them before

I AM POOPED.

I WORKED WITHOUT A BREAK FROM 7:30AM UNTIL AFTER 5PM AT THE OFFICE.

And I come home to only 6 eggs. 3 icees, a BR, LH and PR.

Tomorrow and Saturday is our family reunion at my brothers place.

I just want to lie down and sleep... and they have me booked solid again tomorrow, all of next week and most of the week after that. I think they are trying help me take a dirt nap.

I shouldn't complain, perhaps the recession is finally coming to an end. I HOPE SO, but I've gotten used to being LAZY.

My little w/BW Ameraucanas are gorgeous and I didn't dare put them under Blucy my broody.. I've got to get a couple of layer chicks from the feed store to put under her or she'll die on those golf balls.

I'm starting to guess the gender on some of my polish chicks. I'm guessing that the thick legged ones are going to be roos. It looks like only 7 or 8 of the 21 are going to be pullets.

Glad home sales are being finalized. Glad also we don't get snow in Phoenix...

but I've got such HUGE tomato plants I'm going to have to buy some freeze cloths to cover them here next week... just in case. I harvested the last of my sweet corn this week. It's been an awesome month of corn on the cob from the rows I planted the end of August. I've got peppers to pick now and brocolli that's starting to form and little lettuce to harvest before long. I'll have to think about what I'm going to plant in place of the corn stalks I'll be pulling... probably beans and peas.
