mine. there is no fence around the property. I am not sure why the fence is there. It is about 100 feet long and does not connect to anything

I thought I'd share a picture of what my children got me for Christmas.... I hope the weather is nice enough when the DH is feeling better (down with a stomach flu ) to get it hung-up out on the barn.....I'll post another pic when that happens!!

I just got back from getting glasses at Lenscrafters. You know their motto, "Glasses, in about an hour?" Make that, "Glasses, in about five hours." Plus, they are located in the biggest mall in the area and it was a madhouse. Lenscrafters was so crowded. Today or Monday is the last day to use flexible spending accounts for medical expenses or lose it January 1st. OMG, there were so many people. One lady was calling her friends saying she got the most expensive Coach sunglasses for $18.00. I got one pair of glasses on the spot and ordered another that have to be sent out for anti-glare treatment. Those take a couple of weeks.

Well, the buyers have moved into my house today and of course I didn't get any money. It will probably be Tuesday now before it hits my bank, assuming the title company has time to do the wire transfer on Monday. They keep reminding me they are only working a half day Monday because of the "holiday." New Year's Eve is a holiday? When did that happen and why didn't I get the memo? I would have held out signing until Monday if I had known I wouldn't get my money. I am going to go out on a limb and assume the two realtors involved were paid. Mine told me the buyer's realtor was chomping at the bit all day. I should have resisted the pressure to sign on Wednesday so the buyers could move in today. If I have to wait, everyone else should have to wait too. Jeeze how I hate the slimy business of buying and selling real estate.

Found some Root Beer BBQ sauce at Williams Sonoma while waiting "about an hour" for my glasses. We are going to try it on grilled chicken thighs tonight. I need to go make some croutons for the Caesar salad.

Did I mention our heat went out agin yesterday? The home warranty company authorized me to spend up too $50.00 for a space heater until they could get someone out next week. The "holiday' you know!
