Kelly, Just the other day you were wondering how you got named the expert

Woohoo Mary, you got the "good stuff!" LOL I used to work in the pharmacy while I went to college, I've got some CRAZY stories I tell ya.... it was usually obvious who was buying the controlled pain meds to resell them, nothing concrete you just could tell the type by the questions they'd ask...
I sure hope this morning's surgery did the trick for your teeth troubles!

Here's one of my pretty Isbar pullets. She's quite shy. The other one is black and is downright wild, can't get within 5 feet of her!

And my favorite FBCM cockerel, he is super friendly- loves to stand on my feet and peck at my laces. Of course since he's my favorite that means he is turning out to colorful for the standard!!! Cream Legbars, blue Ameraucanas, and other FBCMs in the background.

The nap never happened Dar. I just laid down for a bit. I am feeling quite good. The local is starting to wear off so I am feeling some pain but nothing compared to the other pain. I am anxious to see if that returns. I really liked the oral surgeon. He has chickens! I was in and out in a flash, three hours early due to a cancellation. He also recommeneded a dentist here in Auburn that he has known since high school. He says she is very competent, honest, etc. As soon as I am ready, I will make an appointment for a second opinion on the rest of the work that needs to be done. The oral surgeon asked me to call him before I call her for an appointment so he can fill her in on the mess I have been through thus far. We'll see.

Gonna lay back down and watch a little Judge Judy and hopefully dose off.

Thanks all, especially Mahonri!

Diva, Norco is similar to Vicodin just compounded differently with less potential for stomach upset.

I said I would TRY to sex them. No claiming of expertness.

Glad it went well and that you are getting another opinion. Rest up.

I can't take vicodin - makes me puke horribly.

Vicodin never bothered me but, didn't do much for pain. I was just more relaxed. When faced with real pain, I just grind my teeth to dust - which is probably why I have so many dental problems. I am NOT afraid of dentists, I AM afraid of the bill. My last dentist was on par with Mary's former one. She never met a tooth, she couldn't make worse. Luckily she moved back to her home state, and now I'm left trying to find a decent dentist I can afford.

Hmm maybe Dar could fly in with his tools and in exchange get a knowledgeable guide to Chicago tourist spots, my brother has family membership for Brookfield zoo, Museum of Science & Industry etc. and has worn the family out with so many trips there. The one thing I really like is the incubator/brooder for Java chicks at the museum.
