Happy Chooks now that I am sorta up, I get what you meant by "musical threads," you meant to keep her bumped up. I still think it needed a sound track - all Mary's video's have them - usually something heart pounding.

LOL, it's all in the temperature! All this tak of hatching eggs has made me hungry - think I will hardboil a couple.
How'd you do Deb?Wow, the show this weekend was exhausting...............in fact, I just finished my first cup of coffee, not I have to go start unloading all the birds from their crates in the truck. We didn't get home last night from Fresno until LATE! I wasn't going to unload 25 birds in the dark. I figured they had spent two days pampered at the show, they could tough it out overnight.

Quote: We did pretty well.............I certainly won't list everyone, but the ones I was happiest with, BB/RB new hampshire and in bantam barred rocks, there were 11, we brought 4...........we won 1st place cock, cockerel, 1st/2nd place hen, BV & RV. Then got beat out by the whites (pretty hard to complete with them).
I had quite a few other good placements and comments, but was pretty happy with my two rarer breeds (very seldom have competition). I brought a lakenvelder pullet (the only one of course), but the judge told his clerk.............." you hardly ever see these, but this is a really nice one". And my campines, I saw the judge watching them for quite a while. When he got to them, he told his clerk............"these are the best campines I've seen in years. I hope whoever has them keeps working with them". I knew they wouldn't go any further, their condition is rough at the moment, their tail feathers are ready to molt out and start again.
All in all, a great show.
Oh, and I had a guy track me down at the show (asked show staff to point me out), talked to me a couple of times, has since called and emailed.......................he wants to buy some birds to "mount" for a museum display. And a feedstore that raises their own chicks, wants to get a RIR cock from me to improve type/size in their birds. He said my cockerel was his favorite bird in the building yesterday (and he's only about 7 mos old, he is going to be a monster).
