Kelly, That will be fine for the little Isbar chick. I have one left to hatch but so far it is just moving around in the shell without pipping.

so I climb under the house craw all the way across to change a dryer hose. Of course it is longer than the only size I could find. 8 feet

Mary, I keep scrolling back to your three still life photos. They're fantastic. I can't pick a favorite because there is something about each composition I really like, equally as important as the other two.

For all the folks I admire on this thread, with your specialty breeding projects, emu wrangling, your bird showing, your COOKING, all y'all just impress the heck outa me!!

Whoo boy. Maybe I can figure out how to switch my new, Canon camera's language from Japanese , or possibly Korean, to English. That will give me a sense of accomplishment!

Congrats Kelly! Reminds me to go to the basement and lock mine down. I finally got my Mardi Gras King Cake in the oven. I couldn't find a tiny plastic baby to put in the cake so I used a tiny plastic chicken and baby chick. I would probably be thrown out of Louisiana for that, but it is fine for northern CA! We don't have a party store close by for things like Mardi Gras babies!

I am devoting the rest of my day to getting my first assignment done for my Food Photography class. It is due in two days! It involves shooting in natural light and that is hard to come by here with the wrap-around porch. May have to move it upstairs for the afternoon light.
Looks great Mary! As a resident of Louisiana, I'm giving you the
