Quote: Mike, Have you heard of Antiquity Oaks Farm here in Illinois? I took a cheese making class from Deborah Neimann-Boehle there a few years ago. They have Nigerians and I always think if I ever were to get goats, that would be the breed I'd want.
The local friend of mine that I get goat milk from, has a herd made of of Saanen (sp?), LaMancha and Alpines. This time of the year I go over and hang around her barn for a cuteness fix!

Mary, The exposed brick wall in the photography room is very nice!
In my house, the Michael is the neatnick and the Mary is "organizationally challenged".

We got some much needed rain without any loss of power. We have "rain/snow showers" forecast for tomorrow....

.....with lows near freesing and Frekk and Forsaela have eggs that are due to hatch.......

My BF and I are both organizationally challenged. At no time since it was first built has my house looked that neat. (It is clean though, if you don't count a few hairballs hiding here and there)

Mahonri, thinking of you and you have my prayers. And for those who know her, Debi Lorrah (Raymond) could use a good word too, her husband is having some serious health problems too

My wife has heard of Antiquity Oaks Farm, she actually does all the "research", and uses that Facebook thingy. I'm just labor.

For Frekk and Forsaela.

Please keep the rain/snow, yesterday we had enough rain here to last awhile.

Dar, prayers sent.

I heard she had sent eggs to an unsuspecting person. She was talking about on the Turkey Hatchathon.

I love the Nigerian Dwarfs.

Do you HAVE to milk them in addition to letting the kids nurse? I figure you don't but I haven't asked...
