Stella's Social Club

* They were 100% roosters ..... sex links. He told me he would refund me. However, he has made no effort to follow through with that.   I GAVE them all away.

Kathy, some locals had the same problem. They went a couples of weeks ago and picked up some more.

When I moved here, last September I took a picture of the pond area. Yes, there is a small garden pond under that mess.

Here it is a couple of days ago. I am working with a non-existing budget. :-)

Still has a long way to go. But it is a start.

Gave away a bunch of chicks. I am working on the Alohas and I did not like what I was getting so I am pretty much starting over. I kept a couple, but I got rid of about 40 chicks. Parent's are gonna be the next to go. Feed costs too much to be raising them up and hoping for some quality.

My dang Violet Laced Wyandottes are driving me crazy! Fertility is horrible. I am lucky to get 2 chicks out of 15 eggs set. I have a trio. I have trimmed them and everything.

I guess I am not too good at lurking. Hi Kelly and Mary. See I am participating.

Kathy, I completely understand. They said they had a horrible time getting in touch with him, because of Turkey season. They had a get together and a group of them went up.

Wow what a transformation!!! Amazing! We just finished digging all the dirt out of a two-tiered flowerbed on the south side of our house, refilling it with GOOD dirt, and filling it with plants from around the yard and a few from Lowe's for my Mother's Day present. Then we splurged with one load of cedar mulch and it looks AMAZING! Although I told my husband it doesn't look like all the hours we put into it! Will have to snap some pictures later and share, I am so excited to finally have a nice flowerbed! Now if only I can keep it that way through the hot Oklahoma summer!
