Okay, I'm not fishing for happy birthdays...........I'm just amazed how this sneaks up on you.

Today is the big "60".

I am sure 60 will sneak up on me in about 6 years also....

Mine is this Friday. I will be going to Helwig Winery in Amador County for the regular Friday night live music thing, and some of my friends will be there too. We'll have a small group within the whole audience who will be there. I understand there will be cake and somebody else will cover the five buck "cover charge" for me.

Anybody feel like checking out the Helwig Music At Night this Friday? There won't be many more of them before they stop for the year. Come join us! e

Maybe we'll come by as well. The last one we went to was a little too LOUD. People were actually moving out of the pavilion so they could be heard to talk. And our favorite guy from last year, Frankie Soul, they said they don't hire him anymore

I swear, we had so much music in common, I thought we must have gone to HS together.

My 60th was on the 22nd.

However, today (28th) is our 42nd wedding anniversary!

We are gonna run down to Branson, MO for the weekend (to celebrate?)....
Actually, they are having a "Southern Gospel Picnic," and I want to hear the music!
