AW Kathy the mom's are adorable but that poor baby! It may still make it. Amazing how resilient they can be.

The chickens are eating your lowers and the deer are eating mine. I put $42 timers on my scarecrow predator deterrents and the timer in the rose garden failed, In one night the deer wiped out all the flowers and a good portion of stems and leaves! Michael replaced it with the one from the vegetable beds since they are about done anyway.

I love deer, but..............

Kathy didn't you order sweetgrass turkeys and an assortment. I miss mine so very much but I have dozens of wild ones daily to entertain me.

Here they are waiting for me throw out scratch. Then they all jump down, walk around the house and eat.

Tasted really good and I don't even like candy corn!

As for recovering your dining rooms chairs, I didn't see that part of your post.

Been frantically painting the house (or Tom has), making items for our two storefronts, trying to get busy setting up our first contest with prizes for Blue Roo Creations, and I think we are about ready to get that up and going, so please register so you can enter that, guys! I started quilting again for the first time since before the house fire back in March, making a fall table runner for the store, which will be on sale as soon as I get it hand quilted. Piecing takes not much time, just the quilting may take a week or so on this one. Will be about 16 x 40 in size.

The young cockerels are getting used to running with the Big Evil Women. I saw Isaac out in a huge dusthole with two of his hens while his sons Indy, Rex, Ira and Deacon took care of the flock for him. He's slowing down some in his old age and he deserves it! Good man, my Ike.
