Stella's Social Club

Today's Chickie Chorus Line! The darker blue at the front is out of my avatar, Rex, and my splash Rock hen, Gloria Jean. The black and the very light blue are from Alice and Neela, my blue Rocks and the Dellie looking baby is from my Del x pullet, Raven, with my recently rehomed Del x cockerel, Gabriel. I think I may have a blue barred pullet in the front, considering how quickly that one got a tail and wings. These hatched out Feb. 28. Most are probably not staying, though. Not in the plans.
Adorable babies! I need a broody!

Look what I got the other day!

It was delicious!

And more coming up:

Mary, sheriffs are around 24/7. Don't wait until monday. And have Micheal handle it if you are too stressed. My opinion would be that if you point a camera and say, you are being recorded, then it is legal.
Ditto.

SHE/He is illegal, thats harrassing behavior, get it on record, them, and with your sheriffs department. That is VERY important.

This is a deranged person. Protect yourself. With a gun AND camera. You can do whatever that you want to with a camera on your property. Whatever, as long as its not taking off property lewd events. This is a deranged person, get it on camera.

I was a deputy, both in MaDonald Cnty Mo, and in LA Cnty Ca. The latter much like being back in Vietnam. Long ago, in another time. I worked in 'the heights' and other lovely places as a K9 handler.

For sure get Michael involved, as in first person involvement.

Dont do anything other then point the camera.

I had regular bees in 9 hives in 1994, that I purchased as package bees.
Last I rescuded a have of federal bees and I put them into a Water hive. The wood is thicker, and the boxes smaller. Also the bees need to draw their own comb making them more mite resistant.
They seemed to be getting through theheat and freezes very well - the issue for bees is keeping their brood at 96 degrees steady.
My bees are aggressive and I would no way be working them without veil or gloves.

I did it, I finally managed to get a picture of one of my bees coming in with her pollen sacs full. This required I sit about 2 feet from the hive for quite a while to get this shot.

And I got this of the oaks blooming:

And the peaches:

OMG Cyn they look like they are in line at the DMV!

Thanks for the advice Jake. I am going to make a couple of calls tomorrow just to seed what's what.

Kelly, good use of your camera! Nice depth of field!

Did you guys feel the earthquake?

My dad passed this weekend, heading back home today after 5 of the worst weeks of my life. I know he would want us to be happy, but it may take a while to get there. I wish you all could have met him, he was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He came with me twice to Michigan chickenstock just out of curiosity, and had a great time both times meeting people.
