You didn't leave that out long enough..... My flock eats watermelon (and cantaloupe) rind down to the THINNEST possible bits they can! As thin as paper and sometimes right through some spots. Then the ducks and or geese finish the shreds. Nothing left for the compost bin.
It's the worst! I've lost two Golden R.'s now. Love those dogs. Both males..now have a female. Your friend here looks to be a lab. I love them too. Just wonderful dogs.
