Cute name! Now we need a video so we can agree it fits! This little guy gave me a huge scare this week, Monday we had a huge thunderstorm move through and I was gone ALL day. I got home just as it was getting dark to find that my dogs and goats had broken out of their fence, and the dogs had opened several of my quarantine cages (yikes bad chicken mommy make those cages more secure!!!). I was heartbroken that my pride and joy Cream Legbar cockerel was gone. I only found 1 body out of 4 missing chickens but assumed they were all dead. He showed up about lunchtime today crowing his heart out! And one of the missing hens showed up just after dinner tonight. So I only lost the hen's chick (about 7 weeks old) and a rir hen I used for mixed breed chicks. Phew!!! I'm test breeding him for egg color because his dad only has one blue egg gene. He won't be used until his girl chickies grow up so I can see their egg color. But he LOOKS fantastic!

Rinda, so sorry. You should probably NOT buy a Powerball ticket. Or maybe you'd get lucky and break the bad luck streak. I am glad you got a couple of your birds back especially your pretty boy. Hopefully he'll stay in during thunderstorms from now on.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Merlerault chicks from GFF. They shipped yesterday morning but it too a full 12 hours before they left FL. I would love for them to arrive today but tomorrow is the date the PO says they will arrive. I'll have my blowdryer ready!

Hey Diva I got some early morning video of the emus running from my bedroom window on my iPad. Now I just have to figure out how to get it from my iPad to my computer.

I grabbed the iPad because I sleep with it and took the video. I forgot that my new Canon cal era was right their on my nightstand! I am going to blame it on not being fully awake versus old lady CRS syndrome.

Hopefully I'll have it soon. In the meantime, here's Stuart, looking particularly dim-witted.

They are here! One was chilled and almost dead but it perked up with the blowdryer. Still not opening eyes much but it seems to be doing ok. Tried to upload an image but I keep getting an error message. I think the problem is with BYC because I can't upload any images. I'll try again later.

Oh I'm so relieved for you! Hopefully it will pull through and at least it was only one! Man I wish the post would get my packages to me like that! And you are SO much farther from them than I am!
