Two feed store cuckoo Marans pullets (?) I think one's a boy. They were not very cooperative in getting out of the shade and letting me get closer.

Very late to the party but pullets.

They are quite flighty and cautious right now because they are in with the Orps who are mean to them. They run a lot. I need to get the Orps outta' here!

I have cuckoo Marans and they did take a lot of effort to get them as socialised as they are, the cockerels were fine but the hens weren't so sure
Now they are very friendly love to be on my knee and with me, they are 20 weeks so excited I might get an egg soon!

i agree they should be quick and stealthy compared to a Marans from how there body and streamlining looks

Chickens like the Brabanter can often do ninja like back flips over big slow marans. It is amazing to see!
