Hey, I finally said it, and meant it when it came to hatching. I finally quit hatching after having done it for three years..almost straight! I did order some layer chicks to start laying this Jan. Feb. Nothing fancy, but will lay well for me, and I will be selling my older girls as the new ones start to lay.
I have my flock waaaay down. Had too many this summer! I am happy now with my 8. I was beginning to wonder if I would actually ever be able to quit. I loved those fuzzy butt babies!
