Thinking about you Jason. I actually got close to thinking we were going to skate by fires in this area this year but I was so wrong! We are choking over here with all the smoke. I am staying in today except for a dental appointment. Yuck to that!

I wondered Mary, when I saw that photo of the morning sun, if you were having problems breathing! Then I read on...we had that happen here, a fire up the canyon, had to close all of the windows, stay inside. It was awful. Hope they get these things under control soon. Breathing is not good Cynthia but thanks for asking. I had difficulty breathing through my nose during my dental procedures this morning. I am back home and going to try to stay indoors with the air purifier on.

In two days I made 6 quarts of marinara sauce with tomatoes from my garden and 9 jars of pesto! the deer tore down the deer netting so I decided to harvest what ready now and if they eat the rest so be it. We'll have fresh sauces this winter now!

Deer!!!! This yr. they got my sweet potato vines, No potatoes. The ground hog ate lots of tomatoes, no sauces or canned tomatoes. No beans because of the groundhog too. Next yr. I will put up fencing on my raised boxes!!!!!!

Take that animals. Don't get me wrong I love to watch them but they have a national forest across the road to eat in. Sigh!!!

Ok around me. we are getting buzzed by copters picking water up at SlyPark Lake I assume.
Fire is about 7-8 miles away as a crow flies now at 8600 acres

Glad you are okay. How close are Deb and Linda? I haven't seen them on here either.
