Mike isn't Sunna the girl you owner handled to championship??? Is it likely she'll have both coat types in the litter? Is the short haired type preferred in the breed?

Yes, Diva, I owner-handled Sunna to her AKC grand champion and champion titles. Most people believe that the long hair is favored in the conformation ring (in the U.S.). The short haired gene is dominate, Sunna carries the recessive long hair gene and the stud dog is long haired. Statistically 50% of the pups should be short haired (and carry the recessive long, Ss) and 50% long haired (ss).

Tough one Mary. The comb looks cockerel like, but I don't see any red in the shoulders like males get. Coloring looks like a pullet.
