Beautiful egg but, imagine what you could cook up with an EMU egg. Even the duds they lay,(because the boys aren't willing, would fetch a pretty penny - lots of people decorate them.

ps we all know Loca is crazy, wild -and aims for the teeth but, a cat is too close to the ground for her.

Well Tucker has been running around the house barking at him from all the windows. I guess I could release the krakken and see what happens.

Mary I had to google that word, so does that mean Tucker is forsaking beef, etc, for FISH. He's eating tuna maybe so the cat can't have it.

Okay that's one way to chase the cat away.
No, we all went pescetarian about four months ago. Tucker has always loved fish. Michael eats tuna right from the can and lets Tucker have it when he is done. Only the ones without sharp edges! He'll work to get every little bit out of that can for an hour. Even his favorite dog food is salmon. So that cat is out of luck! I might throw him a fish bone from time to time if he keeps hunting gophers.

We haven't officially announced the launch yet, but we are working on a new food blog Simply Pescetarian. I moved over the food posts from the Egg Farm and have been weeding out the ones with meat. I have also been adding new recipes. Michael and I are going to post journal entries and we each have our first one done. Anyway, y'all are welcome to check it out, but it is a work in progress. I am hoping to get this blog on the BlogHer publishing network like my other one, and derive some income via ads. Very little income but it is something I love doing.

I always loved eating tuna straight from the can but that's the only fish I will touch - don't eat too often because of the "mercury" waiting to kill me. When I was preggy I loved the tuna with coconut flakes on top, who knows where the heck cravings come from. I mean coconut flakes - geeze!!. Haven't that that combo since (almost 30 years ago)
