Mary - so glad you are feeling better. I tried to call you twice, and was getting worried.

Mike - beautiful pheasant!

Sorry, we took a drive and got an ice cream. Just got home. Your eggs are doing fine. The pump is keeping the humidity perfect without running constantly like it does in my big cabinet Brinsea. You need to take it home with you!

I'll get the little brooder set up tomorrow, just in case. I am getting excited.

My broody is doing great with her little chick. I might start letting them out into the run after the storm passes. Mama sits right by the pop door with the baby, like it is going to open. Haha, I took the batteries out! I am going to try to get some pictures tomorrow. The baby looks darker not that it is all fluffed out.

I made Easter bread again tonight, just minus the eggs. I am taking a loaf to my parents in the morning if I feel well enough to drive safely. Finally I have a systolic press close to 100! I drank 32 ounces of Gatorade today which is a fluid intake record for me, I think.

Kathy, you know we hate doctors, right? I think I know what's going on now and I just have to get myself hydrated. It is so easy to do with an IV but takes so long with just oral intake, especially with me. But, I am getting there. I appreciate the concern.

I want that pheasant. So pretty.

Glad your blood pressure is on the rise, so scary! Thanks for the update on the eggs, I bet you start seeing hatching by this afternoon. You get to hatch them and send them home! Perfect situation for you.

Mary, it's snowing up here! Finally, some winter! It's just a light dusting right now, and supposed to turn to rain this afternoon.

Busy weekend. Started some strawberry beds and a garden, planted some fruit trees, then Easter stuff on top of that! Sold Lucy yesterday, she was a bday present for a 10-11 year old girl who is pleased as can be with her. Colby goes to his new home in 2 weekends. So I'm down to 3 pups yay!

Forgot to share pictures of our "Egg Geode" experiment. Turned out pretty neat. The crystals are smaller than I expected but definitely there. I only had enough Alum to do one color, and I didn't want to do a bunch if it didn't work. I think we'll do more colors next year!

Hope everyone had a nice Easter. I felt well enough this morning to take the bread to my parents and have a nice visit.

Feeling worse this evening with a very irregular heart rhythm. I had Michael listen through my stethoscope and he was a bit freaked out. So, I admit defeat. I called my doctor and I am going to try for a same day appointment tomorrow or I'll have to go through Urgent Care. Gotta' get this fixed.

Haha she saw me taking pictures and told me to take one of her- then she "posed." She's 7. She is going to be a handful when she hits teenage years....
