Maybe a cute chick picture will help! This is Bumble, one of the Buckeyes I hatched out for my sister. He had something stuck to his foot and could not figure it out. I think the clumsiest chick I have ever hatched out. These Buckeyes are as friendly as my Delawares - first to run to you when you tap a finger in the food.

Moose is just fascinated with the broody and her chicks, he watches them most of the day.

Happy ending to a sad story. Something (I think a raccoon) got one of our muscovies sitting on her nest of 14 eggs about 2 weeks ago. When I discovered it I put the last two surviving eggs in the incubator. They hatched earlier this week and another broody duck hen took them on!!!

A friend kept 2 sheep just for her Border Collie to watch - she would sit outside the pen for hours. Just watching.

Poor Bumble, I know how irritating it is when you realized you have stepped in something with shoes ON. Bumble is barefoot, so it's worse. Maybe he stepped on gum, humans are always ejecting it without another thought.

I am enjoying it Mike. I am trying to rise about the scumbags of the Icelandic chicken world. I never should have posted about losing Lukka. It drew the a-holes out from under their rocks. Sorry bunch of idiots. Just wait until they find out the truth. And, they will.
