My sister's beebalm is in full bloom, and covered with all kinds of different bees - who knew there were so many kinds!

There was microbee - maybe 1/8" long, look at the pollen bags!

Yes and I can sure see why it is called that, it was covered with bees of all kinds - 7 types that I could count for sure.

I saw Mary's new place today - I wanted to see it before she starts renovating. That kitchen floor is very interesting.

It has sparkles and is 70's brown tones - it's not as bad as I thought it would be, but it's broken in places. The floor plan and outside space is really nice. The kitchen is huge, and I think she'll be very happy there. It's a good size, and with the renovation, it will be perfect for them.

Mary, I thought about it and I think you need to put in a tulip poplar tree. It is a very fast growing shade tree, and the bees love it.

No, I am still trying to get a fenced run. I think we may have to put up one ourselves since I can barely get a return phone call from fencing contractors, much less a bid. Hopefully Kelly won't be serving them an eviction notice for a few days. "Pleeeease, Aunt Kelly."
