Stella's Social Club

First off, Rinda. Shut up! What the heck? You are amazing. Those skirts are so adorable and the knees? So cool! I hope you are sharing your ideas somewhere because there are a lot of people who can do something, but they can't come up with the initial idea. You Tube this stuff! Or make them and sell on Etsy. Or just have fun and share them with us. Good luck with the hubby's job interview. :fl

Oh yeah, I forgot to say good luck to hubby!

Thanks Kelly. I love the sink too. I was worried about that faucet because the slate finish was new to me. They had one bathroom sink version and the kitchen faucet. It was wasn't brushed nickel and wasn't oil rubbed bronze. It was somewhere in between. I think it looks perfect with the sink.

I am excited about having a gas cooktop again too. nervous about keeping that thing clean though. It is supposed to have a coating over the stainless steel that helps keep yucky stuff from sticking to it. We'll see I guess.

I can't believe I have to haul hundreds of pounds of tile back down to Rancho today and return it. But it wil not work in the bathrooms. Would be ok in Master because the shower is in another room and not by the sinks. In my bathroom they are close, and the color and patterns clash. So the tile hunt is on again. I'll be gone a few hours so maybe by the time I get home the laminate will be installed! That is going to make the next huge impact. Every ugly surface that gets covered up gives us hope that this will be done soon! Today is the first day of week 5. A lot has been done in a short amount of time. But, I WANT TO SLEEP IN A REAL BED!

x2 to all of that!!! Just - wow! And good luck to hubby!

By the way, if something loses a button in this house, it's history! My sewing days amounted to a few Halloween and school play costumes and a maternity outfit for me that made me look exactly like Winnie the Pooh! My poor son had all his badges pinned on- (unfit mother). But I do love to crochet - it's soothing.

Loved the pictures, Mary. The kitchen sink is amazing and I really like the quartz in the bathrooms. The kitchen is coming together beautifully - can't wait to see it with the backsplash. and floor in.

Loving the remodeling pictures, Mary! It is coming right along. AND, it is looking great! Is the mean Russian guy gone for good, or is he still around?

Rinda, I LOVE your sewing projects! I just saw that skirt idea on facebook the other day and my daughter-in-law said she is gonna use the idea for a 4-H project with my granddaughter. I really like those monster pants too! What a great idea that is!

Kathy (lovin' all the pictures!)

Thanks for all the compliments! I can't claim originality, the monster knees idea I saw floating around on FB maybe 6 months ago or so. Same with the flared skirt. The straighter skirt with just a back and front piece I did just make up as I went but I'm sure it's not an original thing to do. I shared these on FB, and a few friends reposted them too.

Found the scout shirt- in the NICK of time- like 30 minutes before we had to leave! He has his Bear now!

Hubby's interview went really well he thought. He feels he has a good shot. We will know early next week if we make it to the next round of interviews. It's a position with the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce so things move at a snail pace since it's "government" of sorts.

Mary, everything looks great!!! This is better then watching HGTV!!! Can't wait for more pictures!!!!
