Rinda - Congrats to your son. Both of my boys went through Cub Scouts and now they are both in Boy Scouts. My oldest is Life rank and getting ready to work on his Eagle project. My youngest is just about 1st Class. (he just has to pass his Board now) It's a great program for boys.

Good morning all. I spent most of yesterday in the Jeep returning a ton of ceramic tile and buying a ton more! This time I got a plain grey tile that works better with the Quartz in the bathrooms. I came home to laminate flooring all the way through the back of the house! They were a little short to finish a closet but I have ordered more.

Today the carpet is being installed. The carpeting I ordered is stuck in Los Angeles. I had to choose an alternative in order to get it delivered this morning! I already paid the installer and it can't be cancelled so I need something for him to install. I think the color will be ok but I sure would rather have what I ordered and paid for! Good grief, it is always something.

Johnny built a mantle for the fireplace and installed it yesterday. It is very basic, matches the ceiling beams, and I love it because Johnny made it for us. I'll get pictures as soon as it is light out.

I think that Eric might be done with the cabinets today. I hope so.

I am so unbelievably tired. Even after sleeping all night I still feel exhausted. Maybe it is because I am thinking about the 143 boxes in the garage that have to be unpacked! Or maybe it is because Michael and I moved three bedroom of furniture out to the deck last night in preparation for carpet installation. I just need a good night's sleep in a real bed!

The day it decides to rain is the day Mary had her furniture outside. I hope her carpet got installed and she got her furniture back inside before the rain started.

Wee covered the furniture with plastic when it started raining. We did get the carpet in the bedrooms today but what a hassle. The carpet did not arrive this morning so we had to go find someone else with carpet in stock, buy it and have the installer come back. What a nightmare. But it is done. Now I just have to get my money back!

Eric finished the cabinets today and he is paid and gone! Yay. He did a great job and even installed the oven for me! It looks great.

Ceiling fans were installed today. The wood mosaic tiles were put in around the fireplace. Baseboards were installed in most of the house. Lots and lots of little things got done, mostly electrical. John suggested that we add corner shelves and an accent tiles in the shower and tub areas. So I had to go down again to pick out tiles. I think I am finally done buying tiles. I think it will look really good but I need to stop spending money. A lot of the walls are quite crooked and Johnny felt that adding some smaller tiles would give him a better chance of making everything thing look straight. The main tiles are 9 x 12 inches.

I will get some pictures tomorrow. It was just too hectic today and I was gone much of the day.
