Heck of a rain storm we are having!

High wind gusts too, which can make you nervous when you have a lot of trees around that haven't had water in quite a long time! The best part is the mountains are having blizzard conditions.

I'm enjoying it from inside, making Christmas cookies. My oldest son has to make these later, for a Spanish project. I'm soooo tasting one!

The cookies were difficult. The "dough" is like powder, so you have to push the edges and squish it down to get it to where you can use cookie cutters to cut it and get it on a cookie sheet. Some of them broke, they are extremely delicate. But they are quite tasty and melt in your mouth.

And no, I still have not found the wine.

I got ZERO eggs yesterday. I mean, c'mon...........not even a single egg? I'm struggling to get through winter without having to buy any eggs.


Hubby is out of town, and said he went and bought eggs from the store. He said they were tasteless and disgusting. I told him he is spoiled with our good eggs. Maybe now, he won't complain about the feed bill.

Ha so sorry you're not getting eggs. I'm getting 40-50 a day right now. Good grief. It's a GOOD problem, but my incubators are almost filled to capacity! Haha maybe I should stop setting them? Nah!

Lydia woke up this morning, hurried to get dressed, and then exclaimed, "Now I can go hold the puppies!" and ran for the kitchen! Didn't even ask for breakfast! Haha she is such a cutie.
