We finally dropped below freezing, and had our first trace of snow. Tomorrow it is supposed to go back up into the 40's and stay above freezing for a while.

Weather is so weird!

In Woodland, I scraped ice off of the windshield on three days last week.

No snow though. It warms up here when the storms come in from the Pacific. It is called "moderated by the ocean".

Hi all. we have had a interesting fall so far here. I have had snow 5 times already though the most was 2" its presently raining and 37 degrees but we have a chance of snow tomorrow Christmas eve and Christmas. forecasters have been extremely challenged forecasting our snow levels. Not super cold though we had 2 mornings of 25 with mid 30's for highs.
My humidifier on my R-com is down but once i get that fixed ill be hatching again

haha sorry I'm so busy now it seems. our farm has grown.
I will be hatching White Empordanesa hopefully
Black and crele Penedesenca. maybe try and get some partridge again.I also still keep the bantam brown red ameraucana .

we recently got a Akbash Livestock guardian dog pup we are training to help watch the chickens and our goats. Haha she's a terror to the goats at this age and is already way larger than our 2 San Clemente Island Goats.
We woke up to a white Thanksgiving. Here is this one and the bamboo pic was from week before Thanksgiving

The weather is weird this year. We're supposed to reach into the mid 60's one day next week. 55* on Christmas. If Lake Erie doesn't freeze, there could be lots and lots of snow in Ohio, Penn., and New York. We're far enough south that it doesn't impact us too much. At least you all are getting some much needed rain and snow.

And we are supposed to get snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

I've never in my life had a white Christmas, so it probably won't happen. I will take everything snow and rain related that we can get, we need it badly.

Yes very weird weather. We're going to be in the upper fifties and lower sixties this next week. And lows won't even be close to freezing. We are snow-free until after Christmas more often than not, but it is unseasonably warm.
