That's neat that your sister is doing it with you!Randomness...
Very windy and rainy...kinda creepy since we are surrounded by big trees after five years of drought.
But on a food note, I made this for dinner on Monday and we had leftovers last night. Soooooo good. I had never made a true bolognese before.
My sister Susan is joining me on the 52 week photo challenge. This is her selfie submission. She had her 68th birthday yesterday, and I turn 67 on Friday. We are excited about this next week's assignment for a landscape with sky. We'll be taking our old lady photoshoot on the road for this one! Susan's daughter is going to do the challenge too.
This week's vegetable box was delivered last night. It included a bunch of huge red radishes, and I mean huge. I am not a big fan of raw radish unless they aren't too hot. I am thinking about pickling them and then using them in sandwiches. Of course Michael wouldn't eat it but I would! Next week's photo assignment is to take a shot of something red. These radishes would be great for that but I am sure they will have lost there look by then. But, I could request more in my box next week. They would look lovely as a still life against a black background.
I also got a head of Romanesco cauliflower. It is very pretty. Michael will like that!
I went to Whole Foods yesterday and bought two whole branzino. I am going to grill it today stuffed with Meyer lemon and dill. Luckily my grill is just outside the back door and I won't have far to travel in the weather.
