I agree. I also love that the chicken is black and white, it gives great contrast.

Someone on the challenge thread said they liked the chicken in black and white and asked if they could see the picture of the chicken's colors!

I said sure, but the chicken is black and white! LOL.

I also did this art deco style nightstand today and have it for sale. I tried a new paint, MudPaint and I hand silver-leafed the drawer pull and carved area. Forgot to take the before picture but what I can say is that it was the most disgusting piece I have worked on. Not anymore!

Mary, I was focused on the black & white chicken and with her tail, she is very vertical. Plus which horizontal is harder to spell.
