Stella's Social Club

Re: self driving cars. My thought is if the cars can drive by themselves they can pick up the groceries while they are at it.
I agree about self driving cars.

Since 2010, prius has had intelligent parking assist, not self driving up it will park for you!

I'm am not so sure Stella would approve of the way I am being treated on her social club thread. Just sayin'.

What's worse is I have to teach my son to parallel park soon. And drive a manual transmission. We've gone out a couple of times with the manual, it's painful. He won't stop dropping the clutch.

Michael should tell you what you are doing wrong, so you can get better!

Teaching a teen ager to drive does not sound fun.
It's not. He's driving well now, but learning a stick is another story.

I could go for a self-washing car. Cause that almost never gets done around here.
Absolutely! I've tried to bribe my kids to wash it for me! Sometimes, my youngest will vaccuum it.

We moved some stuff into the shop last night. It looks too much like a house so I need more funky stuff. I will get it all together though. We are shooting for opening Thursday may 5th. Worried we won't have our wholesale order merchandise in time though. Apparently that little calendar box that pops up and makes you choose a ship date means zero. Our sales rep told us last night that it usually ships three weeks AFTER the date you choose. That would have been useful to know in advance.

Picking up a set of boat oars, a sewing cabinet, and a butcher paper cutter today. Oh, and a cement Dalmatian. That's a funky combo I think!

On a sad note, I think we will lose Judy today. This has been a long time coming. Every day I think will be her last, but she has always rallied until last night. She didn' get in the coop with the rest of the girls so Michael put her in. She was barely breathing. Bless her heart. She has been the fiestiest hen/rooster and we will miss her. She's had a long life, moved four times, and hatched and raised one brood. We are just leaving her be, and letting the circle of life play out. She is comfortable. :hugs

Yes, it would be nice to know the ship date means nothing.

Sorry to hear about Judy.
