I can't believe I am saying this but I think I am going to get Tucker clipped short.

Because of all the rain we had this year, our property is now covered in clover burrs. They get stuck in Tucker's coat and he cries when we have to try and get them out. I am serious, we can't even walk barefoot on the sidewalk. I went out in flip flops today and the fabric piece between my toes had six burrs in it. Hurt like heck. He is so cute scruffy but I can't bear to hear him cry out. We can't even cut them out because his hair wraps around them. It'll grow back, right? he will just look goofy until the next drought.

I painted this huge dresser yesterday and just sold it online ten minutes after listing it. Got $495.00 for it. Quadrupled my money again but i should have asked more. That is too quick a sale.

It grows back, fast in fact. We get Ziggy trimmed a few times a yr. In his old age, his curly coat gets into little knots really quick, no matter how much brushing...and they don't brush out! If I let it get too long, I have to cut them out. I get it trimmed quite close in the summer, not so close in the winter. I loved him being curly in his early days. :/

Beautiful dresser Mary!

We went into a used furniture store this weekend. I cracked up laughing when the dresser I had growing up was in it.

They didn't have the mirror that went with it.

I still have the dresser, etc. I had growing up. Whenever I had some extra $$$ there were others things I felt were better to spend money on.

Most of the furniture made now is much poorer quality, you might not be able to find pieces as well built as what you have from when you were young

I had the French Provincial bedroom set. It held up good. Should I say how long ago that was? Ok. The 70's.
