Whooee look at those wagging tails!  I think my dachshund Max would have enjoyed that action, he is a big tail wagger too.

Michael said they had a blast playing together, running to cath balls and leaving a dust trail. You can know what Tucker is thinking by looking at his tail!

When I gave him a bath yesterday the water ran red from the clay dirt he played in.

Kellly I just got this honey from a local bee keeper, they were selling it at the county fair.I have not seen honey this pale yellow before. It has a lovely light taste. I think my friend said it is Trefoil, and that the Clover honey was darker.

Mmm, that honey looks a lot like my maple syrup. It was very golden this year.
Yummy! Let me know if you sell your syrup.

Wow, that is super light! I know star thistle is a light honey, but not that light. I don't buy star thistle honey because it's an invasive plant that is so hard to get rid of, so I don't support it being grown for honey. Clover is darker than that.

I looked up trefoil, and while it says it can grow in CA, I don't think I've ever seen it here in Northern CA. Thanks for sharing!

A beekeeping friend of mine went to New Zealand, and brought back some Manuka honey. He offered to give me a taste, but says it's an acquired taste.

I look forward to trying it.

My 2nd honey crop this year. This one is darker than last years honey. The picture doesn't show size well, but it's 20 pints worth. The jars in the back are quart jars.
Nice!
