Stella's Social Club

Good luck with the house Cooper! Mine goes on the market tomorrow, late in the day so I have time to clean the last two coops. My realtor says with inventory so low we should get lots of showing right away. There is very little available in this area on useful land.
Yes there is not much out there. Good luck.

Oh, I candled last night and all six of the sizzles are deveolping, dang it! I only want one or two for granddaughter in coop picture. Oh well there's always farmer Fred or Craigslist! I tried candling the dark eggs yesterday but it was too hard. Both Partridge Penedesencas are developing and a few of the BCMs too. The splash Marans is a dud and I think most of the Golden Cuckoo Marans are duds as well. It looks like a couple of the blue copper Marans are developing too. Hopefully I'll be able to see with the Brinsea candler. Does anyone else have the high intensity scope candler from Brinsea? I am so hoping that it works well because when I move the incubator to the playhouse outside I want to be able to candle during the day.

Kathy,

I forgot to post here the results of last weekend's show. My NH pullet was BB & Reserve American. My Campine cockerel was Ch. American, so champion row was a fun spot for me.

I have a little Coleman flashlight, that I bought at Walmart. It is called Coleman MAX, 115 Lumens LED Ultra Bright. I think it was $29. or something like that. I can even see through dark eggs with it.

Well, I'm lazy and I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

Nuff said.

And the buttermilk made some really nice biscuits for breakfast yesterday.
You are not lazy, maybe busy, we saw all the wood you moved!
