Sticky Chicks??

Anyone know what caused this? I had 4 eggs that I set a day after the majority of the eggs and they all hatched out all sticky! They all needed assistance and one even pooped in the shell. I think it did that BEFORE it absorbed the yolk because inside the shell was bright green and also I could see green inside the chicks stomach where the yolk is! I hope it doesnt die. Could this be a humidity issue? JEN

Definitely a humidity problem... our last batch tried to get sticky on us....we had to add sponges to get it up...

I'm pretty sure you have your humidity TOO HIGH.
30% on days 1 through 18; 50% during the last 3 days
