Sticky duckling

Hi! So I have a duckling that hatched two days ago and I think I started helping it a bit too early. I feel terrible and now it’s all sticky. It’s dried off and there’s pieces of membrane stuck to it I can’t get off. They’re call ducks and I heard they need help hatching a lot so that’s why I helped and the other ones I helped her OK except for two that passed away.

Help about how to care for him and help him get better would be very appreciated!
