Still a SL Cochin?? progression pictures

This is one of my picks out of the "rare breeds" bin at a feed store. He is now 8 weeks old. He is not even totally feathered out YET...... But the feathers he has are long and huge on his legs. He is pretty heavy too but so immature looking compared to the others LOL He has always been very "upright" in his stance and when he runs/walks he looks like a druggernaut from the movies, you can almost hear the ground shake..LOL

I am still not totally sure what he is other than a Roo

So you can see the progression, this is him at a few days old

This is him at 2 or so weeks old

Thanks, I don't know if I'm keeping him yet. I have 12 young roosters including him. So its up to the roosters to see who stays. I am keeping the nicest and prettiest and if none are nice then I will start over till I get a nice gentleman.
