Hi all I am new to this. I have a LG still air incubator with 9 chicken eggs and 4 duck eggs. I'm at day 20\21 Lockdown! my temps have been stable...at 100 and humidity at 60. I added sponges yesterday to bump up the humidity highest I have gotten it so far has been 72. No pips yet any suggestions?

I am not familiar with still air incubators having never used one, but I believe the temp should be at 102 for this type of incubator. Lower temps can delay your hatch date. 60% humidity is also pretty high for days 1-18, I try to keep mine under 40% the first 18 days and watch air cell size. Have you calibrated your temp and humidity devices and they are accurate? Did you candle at lockdown? Did you have movement in the eggs? How did the air cells look?

I took all sponges out last night and got humity down to 60 and temp up to 101. And we heard chirping this am. But nothing the rest of the day. I candled some of the eggs and they are alive and the aircells look right on now. So do I bumb up the humidity again?

If there are no external pips you could candle again and look for movement or internal pips. If they were at a lower temp they can take several days longer to hatch so don't give up on them.
