-- We only orderd 25---they throw in a "free rare chick" which can be anything
smile.png
-- I'm thinking our "rare" one is the chick I had pictured at the top--it's a one of a kinder
smile.png
-- Who knows:)!!

I thought they were Hamburgs...they're pretty--was hoping they were EE's though
sad.png
-- Oh well, love them anyways
smile.png
-- The top one does have leg feathering....but is sooooooooo slow to get it's feathers!! All our other chicks have theirs now--but her!! The white and black ones behind the funky one in pic/ #1 do have leg feathering too..they're really pretty
smile.png
! -- Their down was really black,
I was surprised that they were turning out to be so white
smile.png
!! they're really pretty hens--Can't wait to see them all grown up

!

Not Columbian Wyandottes if they have feathering on their legs. - Most likely Brahmas.

You know, you can ask McMurray not to send you a mystery chick. We did, because we only wanted specific birds. So they sent us two of one of the breeds we ordered instead of a "mystery".

How many toes does the first one have? She looks a lot like my Salmon Faverolle- I'll try to get a pic later today

#2- no idea but I doubt they're EE's as they are too uniform looking
#3- looks EXACTLY like my McMurray Partridge Rock
#4- absolutely a Dark Cornish and a weird addition to a "rainbow layer" collection

One would think you would have got EE's in any rainbow collection- strange that you didn't...

I was really disappointed that we didn't get any ee's

-- Oh well--still love them---I'd wondered about #4....they look very "game-y"--and wow they are skittish
smile.png
!! The one buff colored chick we got I'm 99% sure is a buff orpington--I LOVE her..she comes running to sit on my lap when I go out to the coop
smile.png
-- So sweet--love having a lap chicken!! It's weird though, because we didn't do anything different with any of them--some just "choose" to be nice and cuddly
smile.png
-- love it

First picture is a dark brahma with a few lights in the back ground. Those are hamburgs. The other could be a leghorn or pheonix. The last one isn't a cornish. Body type and tail aren't right, I dont think, along with the pattern. I would lean towards a bad golden laced wyandotte.
