Still in need of help

I recently summitted a message asking advice on how to help my girl henny. she seems to be suffering from being egg bound, I have tried putting her in a warm bath and massaging her and i just don't know what to do shy of a vet. She is still in my house in a large cage in the tub. plz help if u can. desperate to save my girl.

Has she passed any material- albumin, yolk, blood etc?

You may have to bathe and dry her many times, and in-between you can use a hot water bottle wrapped in rags or towelling, or a heating pad. The idea behind this is to dilate her chute and keep it dilated so she can pass the egg.

Is she eating and drinking?

Is he straining at the vent, tail down?

Really, if this has been going on for a long time and you have access to a vet, by all means get an appointment.

Can you feel an egg in there when you palpate her abdomen or at the vent, which can be lubed with olive oil or veggie oil?
