STILL NO EGGS...

I now have three layers AND they are laying in the nest boxes! I tried a plastic egg in the nest but they just kept kicking it out. I decided they must not like it so I bought some ping-pong balls and the next day there was an egg! Yesterday I had three small eggs! I really hope they get a little bigger.:fl I have two Silver Duckwing OEGBs that haven't started laying yet but if my Barred Rock eggs are this small what on earth will I do with OEGB eggs? Does anyone have any of this size egg they could share? Thanks!
I used plastic eggs, but I added sand and hot glued them.
The eggs have gotten bigger from mine, but they still are not the "large" eggs that they are supposed to lay. I usually just add an extra egg to a recipe if they call for large eggs.

The far left row in this photo are OEGB eggs, the farthest egg from the camera in that row is a Leghorn egg for comparison. The closest egg to the camera in the next row is from an Orpington. Sorry, that's the best photo I have.

Those far left the soft beige or cream color those are about the size I'm getting from my Barred Rocks...

I don't know if this will help but I noticed about a month ago when my chickens started laying they stopped for 2 days and found at night a CAT was trying to get in their coop and was scaring them so they didn't lay eggs. you should get a camera for at night to see if anything is spooking your chickens and putting them under stress. a stressed chicken don't seem to lay eggs. It may sound crewl but to get rid of the cat i threw rocks at it one night and have not seen it since. lol

IMG_0583.JPG Guess what I just found...in my garage! I was moving out some boxes and these two beauties came rolling out...I was in complete shock! I knew that my silver Duckwing OEGBs had to be laying but had no idea where and I've looked all over the farm! There were only two so no telling where the others are if there are even others..but now I know why she was flying up and hitting the garage door today! I thought she was going crazy! I also found a OEGB egg in the nesting box today, it is smaller than these so I'm thinking it belongs to the other OEGB. I'm so excited:ya
