Still no eggs??

I have a mixed flock with my girls ranging from 20-24 weeks. Still no eggs?! What are we doing wrong?

They look ready to me? Any thoughts?

Some of them do look like they are getting close! Are they squatting for you, is your rooster breeding the pullets? Looks like they just want to try your patience a little longer.

i have 24 seekers that haven't started yet too, but they really do look ready. usually when the combs get red and they start to squat it means their getting ready. some just take longer than others too.

Ahh the wait is killing me!! We have no rooster. We had purchased 3 more "Dominique's" one of which we thought was going to be a rooster, and turned out to be our big Barred Rock. Lol

Are you sure the "big Barred Rock hen" is a hen? In the picture it looks like there are sickle feathers in the tail.

I would need a better side view pic to tell for certain, but I think that the light barred one is a roo!

That is a hen. I have barred rocks and did lots of research on how to tell if they are boys or girls. This is a hen. (they can get big beautiful tail feathers, too)

That's what we thought too, but since there was no crowing we thought maybe hen.
