Hello, me again
A recent pic of my mystery chick, unsure of age but somewhere i. The 5-6 week range.
Super curious, and very easily handled. When I pick her/him up s/he always settles down on to my hand like in the photos. I did think BLR Wyandotte, (still looks like a rose type comb) but when I searched for photos they seem darker and this one is still pretty light- although I could be off on age.

Really I was hoping for pullet, I have a bantam rooster and really am not sure I want 2 in my small flock.

Wyandotte can be hard to sex so I may be wrong but I don't think so...

They are hard, I have a SLW that I thought was a cockerel for the longest time. She’s at the top of the pecking order now, but I was unsure for a few weeks because of her attitude and her comb was the first one to develop a pinkish color. (She was a year old in May)

BLRW, for sure. Still a teensy bit early to accurately determine gender. It could go either way at this point.
