Still thinking pullet, right? 16 weeks.

So... just double, triple, quadruple checking. This is still a pullet right? The comb is HUGE! Way bigger than any of my other, 3 year old chickens. It’s actually starting to flop over.

I see no saddles or hackles yet either. Is she just going to have a humongous comb when she’s older? I’ve seen her poking around the nest box too. She’s a Starlight Green Egger. Thanks!

(there’s a heatwave so it’s very warm outside (100s) but I can get better photos of needed)

Thanks! Most of my chickens have what I thought were large combs... but theirs are nothing compared to Sams.

Wow! She is so grown up all of a sudden! Agree, she is likely POL now. Post photo of her green eggs, when you get some!

No eggs yet, but Sam just squatted when I was doing a quick headcount of the chickens!

(I’ve been doing a headcount every few hours because of this massive heatwave, supposed to get to 111 today)

Guessing she’ll be laying soon!

I feel ya with the comb, my olive eggers comb is huge, lol, had me wondering for awhile. 18 weeks old and just started laying
