Hey @Lemon-Drop! I have a hen with a similar very large comb, and I think she's one of the 3 that started to lay during this crazy heat wave! It's makes it more exciting going out to do checks in the heat 🤪 if I know I could find an egg lol I haven't figured our exactly who's laying yet 😅🙃

I can try and get a picture of her next time I go out there!

Both of my Starlight Green Eggers have massive combs, one of them started laying at 15 weeks! They've had these combs for weeks now and really confused me, but they are for sure pullets. And look a lot like yours.

Roosterie Red as my 5yr old son calls her lol

I don’t think that’s a rooster…side profile?
oh no, it's a pullet, she's just starting to lay at 16.5 weeks, but her comb is impressive lol and had me questioning things for quite some time. But my son likes to call her roosterie Red 🤷‍♀️🤣 despite me telling him otherwise 😆

She is pretty! My top next breeds to get include cream legbars

Thanks everyone! I’m excited, seems she’ll be laying soon! My sister named her Sam because if (if she wasn’t a rooster) she would lay green eggs. Not sure if anybody gets that, did any of you read “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss when you were younger?
