I still think a pullet. My EEs also had red combs early, but they also stayed small. I *believe* pea combs are wider for males.

She's absolutely gorgeous!

I'll see if I can get pics of my EEs who are the same age. You'll see that their combs are very red, too. I think they are nearing POL.

Last week when I held her the neck feathers were rounded it's hard to get photos of them.

You are right. Mine are older. Let me look @ pics of them at 10 weeks, then.

ETA: The only pics I have are recent, and you can't really see how red their combs are.

Pics of the feathers with something dark behind them will help. I hope it's a pullet. I find these hybrids so hard to sex

Some of my girls have sickle-type feathers, but no pointed hackles or saddle feathers. It'll be interesting to see.
