Still won't go into coop.

I put my 6 into the coop for their first night and they have roosted in the coop every night since...they go in before sun set all by them selves and are all comfy cozy

I'd put them into the coop and leave them in it for a day or two especially if they don't know enough to get in out of the rain... My run has plastic on the top to protect them from rain...but if they are free ranging when it showers they will run into the coop until it is over...

thanks everyone for the information I'll be up bright and early to start them on there way of loving there coop!!! Its such a nice coop and its so roomy and big so I know if they just go inside they will love it. Full of warm cozy hay no rain and warm at night so I just didnt understand why they wouldnt go into the coop BUT not I can fix it and make em love it..LOL

I had some plastic covering part of the run all the way up to the coop so they could escape from the rain even if they did not go into the coop. They still stood out in the rain I decided to add a Unbrella that I had bought for a table and connected it to the cage because were to have rain for the next couple of days also the unbrella helps with too much sun beating down on them because there are no shades where there run is. So Crossing my fingers everyone stays warm tonight and I can start my way on learning them to love their coop.

You know i didnt even think of that I just finished the coop and run and put them in it thinking they would just go inside...Is it too late to try this or can I still do it?

No, it is not too late. Good luck!
