Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Emailed Mike Dekker. Thanks for trying guys!

I contacted the AG office and was told that I would have to do civil charges against the uncle and that she had never heard of an "ownership hearing" but that they normally didn't deal with these types of cases.

She did say that the connection between the families and the "small town politics" should be stopped but told me to go to the DAs office in order to file charges against the uncle. BUT, I can only do that when the prosecuting DA is available. Doesn't really work if he won't call you back...

That's what I don't understand ... why there should have to be a hearing at all. You have the paperwork, "title" to the horse and everything else. Still seems like the small town politics have you in their grip. Maybe a bit of media attention will loosen the grip and you can get Max back without the hearing and all that.

Right..usually if police KNOW there is stolen property (which they DO in this case..), they dont let the people keep it, do they? if so..jeez, what a great scam that would be...

Sounds like you are going to need to go to the DA's office. Someone there can help fill out the paperwork. Probably dnt' have to actually talk to the DA to file it.
And they won't want to take the 'complaint' over the phone.

Just sent and email to Ellen and Oklahoma's governor. One email might not mean much to them but if enough are sent maybe someone will take notice and take action.

I've been following this for a while, and can't wait to see the headline change to "Max is back!!!!".

I'm sure the alleged law enforcement officials involved will not know what hit them... the "BYC Fist" is a force to be reckoned with!!
I know this is in good hands...

and will not be surprised to turn on "Ellen" one of these days to hear her talking about this!!
