Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Quote:
I think anybody within a hundred miles in gonna know the uncle is no victim.

I think I also read that the uncle's somewhat 'connected' in the area, which is also part of my concern. If you're a member of the good ol' boy system around here, you can practically (and sometimes literally) get away with murder.

Don't get me wrong.. I really hope everything goes as it should go...as any notion of true justice would surely demand...and that she gets her horse back. I'm just worried because sometimes Lady Justice isn't as blind as we were all led to believe in elementary school... All too often, she lifts the blind long enough to give a little wink at whichever litigant happens to draws the most water in a given small town.

I was told 1:30 PM. Wal-Mart took my subpoened to be copied for their records and wound up "misplacing" the copy and the original. So I have no paperwork to go by. But, I do have a witness to the DA telling me when the time was should something be awry.

I called the Tahlequah Daily Press to see if they wanted to sit in on the hearing, they're going to be sending someone over.
