Maybe I'm the stupid one here. Let's take some MORE time to decide the fate of this horse. Yes, a horse. Not a box of books. It is a living, breathing being that is relying on someone for all of its care who probably doesn't want to put any more time or money into something they will loose in the end. Maybe this is a good thing. Maybe the uncle was trying to pressure her so she recused. Maybe she recused so the uncle could not call a mis-trial, or something. I would call that reporter, though. If something happens to Max sue everyone, if possible.

Apparently she recused herself on 1/04/2010. I don't know about how to proceed. I'm supposed to call the DA at 3:30. The judge refused to remove the horse from the uncle's property when I asked about it. Instead, she told the uncle he must keep the horse in good condition. Load of crap.

Just called the DA. Now I'm waiting on him to call me back. If he doesn't call back within an hour....
