I'd be making SO many calls right now given the APPALLING behavior of this deputy. This is an ORDER not an "oh whenever he feeeels like it". No. A CUT. DRY. Walk down there grab your property and thumb your nose at the uncle on your way because he no longer has ANY say.

Not only THAT but I wonder if the order says the deputy HAS to agree with it and be present. I'd go without him if it's only just a "for your protection" thing because clearly he doesn't give a poop about you.

I've been reading this thread for a while now... and was so excited when you said you could go get Max... now with the Uncle stalling... my stomach aches again. I hope all goes well and you go get your horse today. This is crazy... that piece of paper entitles you to go get your horse... whether the Uncle is there or not.

Why are they even telling the uncle that they are coming??? It should be a stealth recovery, just like whey they reposess your car

Yeah me too. I know of several people that I could take for my protection, and none of them are cops.​

and.. yea. I'd just grab anyone I could trust and go down there TONIGHT. Any longer is NOT okay and the Deputy's treatment of this is HIGHLY HIIIIGHHHLYYY suspect. I'd report him to anyone and everyone I could for his feeble attempts at deterring you while trying to come off as chummy.
