Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Call around an find a repo agent. The company does it for $1500 the agent makes about $100 to $500. You dont need the company just the agent....

Go to the "hang out" gas station in the nearest town an ask who is one. The people at the store will know them. That's how they find cars.

Shop around. Don't give up.

Also, compare repo prices to the cost of the loss of the horse...... I'd imagine $1500 isn't that much if he's as good as he looks in the pictures.

You've played nice so I would now get the media involved. This is absolutely ridiculous! Do you have any big strong guy friends who would be willing to help you get your horse back? Any fellow bycer's nearby????

Since you've tried another animal agency and they won't get involved it sure couldn't hurt to contact Rescue Ink. I watched an episode of Rescue Ink and they were trying to find a dog that had been stolen during a home invasion. If they can't help you maybe they know someone in your area who could. Can't hurt... the guy knows you're trying to get him back and we don't want to see this turn into a case of animal abuse, due to spite on his part.

I tried calling her again...I'm hoping I'll get a response. I tried emailing her and nothing came back, so I don't know if it was sent to her Spam box or not.

I am going to email the Animal Ink guys tonight as well to see if they can give me any tips or hints.

The issue with getting civilians involved is that it may escalate and someone could be seriously injured. We would be at his mercy then, on his property. I'd prefer to have someone with the authority to kick his arse out there (besides me!)

So you've reported him stolen, found him, and the sheriff's office wont do anything? Isnt that their job?
What do you need to get them involved?

And you cant take him to small claims court?

Sorry! Wanted to catch up without reading!!

maybe contact the state troopers? they have authority over the state. Also fish and wildlife might be able to help(game warden they are called in some places). I know in tx they dont have to have a warrant to go on someones property.

I wonder if she can report him stolen. ? . Remember, she had a contract to lease (I believe) But then "He" sold Max. How could he do that without a registered certificate? Is Max registered with an Association? Now would it be considered stolen?? I hope the force is with you and you get him back soon, safe and healthy RoPo!!
